Destinoo Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern access to and use of the Destinoo mobile app. By downloading, installing or using the app, you accept these terms. Please read them carefully; if you are under 18, we recommend reading them together with your parents or guardians.

2. Description of the service
Destinoo is an adaptive career test app aimed at Spanish students who are deciding on their professional path. Destinoo offers:
- An adaptive career test, where questions adjust to your answers.
- A top 5 of the professional vocations with the highest affinity, each with its percentage.
- A bar chart of your main traits.
- An ad-free experience.
Important: Destinoo’s results are indicative. They do not replace professional, psychological or formal educational advice, and they do not guarantee any specific academic or employment outcome.
3. Minimum age
Destinoo is designed for students deciding on their academic and professional path, including users who are minors. Under article 7 of Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 (LOPDGDD), people over 14 may accept these Terms of Use and give consent to the processing of their data themselves. For users under 14, the app must be used under the supervision and with the consent of a parent or legal guardian, who accepts these terms on their behalf. Purchasing the app through the Google Play Store may additionally be subject to that platform’s own age requirements and parental controls.
4. Payment model
- Destinoo is a one-off payment application: you pay once on the Google Play Store and get full access to every feature.
- Price: €1.99 (may vary by country or with current promotions; the final price is always shown on Google Play before you confirm the purchase).
- There are no subscriptions, no additional in-app purchases and no ads.
- Destinoo does not process payments directly. The entire payment, billing and banking data flow is handled through the Google Play Store, which acts as a data processor for these purposes.
5. Technical requirements
- You need an Android device compatible with the minimum operating system version required by Google Play.
- The main career test works without an internet connection.
- Some features (such as app updates or restoring a purchase you have already made) may require an internet connection.
6. Permitted use and prohibitions
By using Destinoo, you agree not to:
- Resell or redistribute the app to third parties.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile or attempt to extract the app’s source code.
- Use bots, automated scripts or other unauthorised means to interact with the app.
- Impersonate another person or maliciously provide false information.
- Use the app for any unlawful activity.
7. Intellectual property
The test algorithm, the questions, the texts, the visual design and Destinoo’s catalogue of vocations belong to Destinoo / Mikel and are protected by applicable intellectual property law. No licence is granted other than the right to use the app personally in accordance with these terms.
The answers you enter into the test belong to you. We use them solely to generate your results.
8. Limitation of liability
- The service is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind beyond those imposed by mandatory law.
- Destinoo is an informational guidance tool, based on the answers the user provides in the test. It is not a psychological, educational or professional advisory service, and it does not replace the assessment of a careers adviser, tutor or qualified professional.
- Results reflect affinities declared by the user at the time of taking the test and do not constitute a binding recommendation, nor do they guarantee any future academic, employment or personal outcome.
- We recommend that results are shared and discussed with a responsible adult, a tutor or a careers adviser before making significant decisions based on them. For users under 14, use of the app and interpretation of its results must always take place alongside a parent or legal guardian, as set out in section 3.
- To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, and without prejudice to the rights granted by current legislation to consumers and, in particular, to minors, our total liability to the user is limited to the amount actually paid for the app.
9. Suspension and termination of the service
We may suspend or cancel your access to Destinoo if you breach these Terms of Use. We also reserve the right to modify, limit or discontinue the service (or parts of it) at any time, giving advance notice where reasonably possible.
10. Refunds
Refunds are handled exclusively through the Google Play Store, in accordance with its refund policy. Destinoo does not process refunds manually, but if you have any problem with your purchase you can write to soporte@destinoo.es and we will help you resolve it or point you to the right Google channel.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy when necessary, for example to reflect new features or legal changes. If the changes are significant, we will let you know through the app itself. Continued use of Destinoo after a change implies acceptance of the new terms.
12. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms of Use are governed by Spanish law. For any dispute relating to the use of Destinoo, the Courts and Tribunals of Spain shall have jurisdiction, unless a different mandatory jurisdiction applies (for example, in consumer protection matters).
13. Privacy
The processing of your personal data, including the specific provisions applicable to users who are minors, is described in detail in our Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms of Use.
